Driver Charged in Wreck That Killed Deputy, Wife

The 26-year-old who was driving the SUV that hit a Richland County Sheriff's Deputy and his wife is charged with driving under suspension.

The driver of an SUV involved in a fatal motorcycle crash has been charged, according to reports.

Soctrell Praylow, 26, is facing a driving under suspension charge, according to The State. Praylow was driving the SUV that hit and killed Sgt. Derek El Dada of the Richland County Sheriff's Department and his wife, Leigh, Wednesday night on Highway 391 near Hutto Island Road in Saluda County.

Praylow is not facing any charges related to the death of El Dada and his wife, according to The State.

Troopers say Praylow ran off the right side of the road, over-corrected, crossed the center line and hit El Dada's motorcycle.

Funeral services for the El Dadas are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church on Sunset Boulevard in Lexington, according to WIS. The memorial service is open to the public.
