Dan McDevitt, Neighbor

Dan McDevitt is a Middle River resident that has been involved in professional wrestling in some capacity since 1993.  From wrestler to matchmaker to promoter I have a wide range of experience in the wrestling industry.

I started out my career in professional wrestling in the early 1990's being trained at the Baltimore Monster Factory. I wrestled for over a decade as Corporal Punishment on independent promotions all over the united states. Had the opportunity to compete for ECW during the era of the first pay per view in 1997. Did preliminary matches and extra work for the WWE in that same time period.

My biggest success in wrestling however probably came from a wrestling school that I co-owned from 1996-2003 called Bone Breakers in Halethorpe, MD. Former WWE United States Champion Orlando Jordan was a student at Bone Breakers, most recently Pat Brink  (Calvin Raines in FCW) as well notable stars in wrestling such as Lita and Mickie James also trained at my school from time to time.

I started promoting professional wrestling events under the banner (MCW)Maryland Championship Wrestling in 1998 and since then have been a rung in the ladder of the careers of many big stars in professional wrestling on their way to success such as Lita, Matt & Jeff Hardy, Mickie James, Joey Mercury and man others.

Most recently I was hired as an agent/ associate producer for the Urban Wrestling Federation for their debut national pay per view. On top of that I was asked by the patch to write a wrestling blog:). Make sure you check out one of my local events and make sure you like MCW on Facebook
