The 53rd Lexington County Peach Festival
Activities are already underway.
Happy Independence Day! If you're still in town and looking to show your spirit, there's still time to head out to the 53rd Lexington County Peach Festival. This year's festival is being held at Gilbert Community Park. The parade began at 9:30 a.m., but the festivities will continue until fireworks at 10 p.m. Most activities will be free, including an antique tractor and farm equipment display, a car show, a Revolutionary War re-enactment and the first-ever Peach Festival volleyball tournament. For those who didn't get enough from the Miss South Carolina Pageant this weekend, there will be more beauties on display as well.
