No, Igor: If it comes out of their mouths it is the truth. You on the other hand have to proveRead More everything you say. At least that's the way it seemed when I last did jury duty. Hypocrisy.
Igor July 4, 2014 at 06:27 pm
Last time I had jury duty, the judge giving the instructions told us that when listening toRead More testimony, the police testimony holds no more credence than the average citizen. If you fight a ticket, guess who the judge is going to believe?

I do believe we as SC need to pass this, It is very important to a lot of Cancer, and all otherRead More patients to put there pain to rest when everything else does not work, I don't want to die in so much pain before they pass or try and get through the day, Unless you have been in our shoes you have no ideal what it is to lay in bed and cry for the pain to go away and sometimes praying to God to just take us. I have never tried it but I have had people offer to give it to me, I am for the laws and refuse to except it scared I will go to jail, Please do what has to be done to let everyone to live in peace and out of most of there pain, Kids and Adults I love my State and I want it to pass and I pray it goes through, God bless you

Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol. I have seen what alcohol can do to a person, I have lostRead More several close friends from alcohol. I have never lost any friends from them smoking marijuana. Alcohol should be banned and made illegal not marijuana. Look at the revenue the State could receive from the legal sales. Hopefully it will be made legal soon.

There's a reason restaurants dont put all their food out on a buffet and have people pay in advanceRead More for exactly what they say they will take. You either pay one price and get all you want, pay and get one trip through or pay after you know what you took. The restaurant was lazy and unless the cashier explained at the time money exchanged hands what the patron was entitled to take, based on the pay, the patron was abused. If a drink dispenser is where the public has access to it, and if payment is in advance, one must assume the patron bought the glass and he can use the glass to fill from the machine anytime he wants. The bottom line is, self serve and self bussing is a bad idea. What next issuing a $500 ticket for failure to bus your tray from the table?
Roy Roscoe May 7, 2014 at 08:31 am
I've always wondered why it's considered unsanitary to use the same plate for a second trip to aRead More salad bar or buffet but not use the same glass for a refill. One falsely assumes that the beverage pours and therefore doesn't touch the container. But Ive watched glasses touch touch the spout or the lip of the ice dispenser. Once touched every patron behind until washing occurs runs risk of cross contamination.

I suspected it. All the SC Congressman except Joe Wilson voted against the Farm Bill. TheyRead More probably wanted deeper cuts to the Food Stamp program. Mulvaney, Duncan, Gowdy and Mark Sanford voted "no." When will we ever learn SC? And all you poor, unemployed, working poor of District 1 are you still happy you voted for Sanford.

Graham and Scott voted against the Unemployment Insurance Extension. What do you think SC? LetRead More them eat cake? Scott I'm especially disappointed in you. You're a long way from your heritage.

Just what I figured. Graham and Scott both voted against the budget bill. Even though it cut foodRead More stamps, had no tax reform provisions and reduced the funding for SEC (Wall Street) regulators. let's be honest SC. Graham and Scott don't represent most of us, they represent the rich. If you're poor, working poor, middle class, black, Hispanic or moderate white you SHOULD NOT vote for these people. You're voting against your own interests and embarrassing SC in the eyes of the country. Lindsey Graham is a professional secong-guesser (ie Susan Rice) and a war monger (Iran) while Scott is a nobody a "cypher." We can do so much better.

The SC legislature passed a bill allowing concealed weapons in bars. That's great. Mix alcohol andRead More guns, real smart. And some politician was smugly saying "what's the point of having a concealed weapons permit if you can't use it anywhere you want?" Is he crazy? And why is the legislature wasting all those hours debating Weapons in Bars and Nullification when SC has so many serious problems. We should vote out the lot, almost all of them but Pale Rider is probably happy with guns in bars.

It figured. Graham and scott voted against cloture on the Extended Unemployments Compensation BillRead More while SC has one of the highest unemployment figures in the country. Between them and Nikki Haley's not signing up for expanded Medicare we (SC) is ruled by the self-serving, and callous. Wise up SC, we are being manipulated and you don't see it. And why doesn't Lexington Patch cover stories like this?

Why do you think Lex Patch has no news or stories about our Congressional delegation, Senators orRead More Congressmen. They used too. Who got to them? Joe Wilson, Lindsey Graham, Nikki the Gov? A note to lex Patch. it's bad journalism to prevent open debate, bad journalism and cowardice. And it's exactly the kind of thing Joe Wilson would orchestrate. He wants you ignorant and quiet. And Gov Nikki, why do you deny Medicaid to the 100's of thousands of poor SC's that need it? You need to look at Kentucky, a decent governor that has his people's interests at heart.
