This regional chain builds its restaurants around local people to create a community atmosphere. The Lexington Fatz Cafe is no exception. Ten years ago this southern flare restaurant was built for long-time Lexington resident Joel Taylor, now the chain's regional manager. Black and white photos from the Lexington Historical Society run throughout the establishment visually rooting place and past. Fatz also supports its present community with robust participation in local fund-raising events and more recently, it's recognized the need to  provide healthier food options.
