Sheriff's Department Holds Book Sale to Benefit United Way

Books will be on sale for $1 Friday and Saturday at the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department is holding a book sale Friday and Saturday to benefit United Way of the Midlands. 

The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Squad Room at the James R. Metts Law Enforcement Complex at 521 Gibson Road. 

All books will be $1. Proceeds from the sale will go to United Way of the Midlands as part of the sheriff's department's ongoing campaign to raise money for the organization.
