Lexington Baseball Advances to State Title, Girls Soccer to Final Four

Baseball plays Blythewood at home Monday in Game One of best-of-three set.

Update: The Lexington High School baseball team will play for the state title once again.

The Wildcats defeated South Aiken, 2-1, to advance to a best-of-three series against Blythewood. Game one is at home Monday.

The Wildcat girls' soccer team defeated Beaufort, 2-0, to advance to the state's final four. Lexington will play Wando on Monday.

The baseball team plays host to South Aiken at 6 p.m. The Wildcats need one win to make it to the state finals for the 12th time in school history.

The girls' soccer team plays Beaufort at 6:30 p.m. in the third round of the 4A playoffs. The lady Wildcats beat Ridge View 8-0 and West Ashley 2-0 before advancing to the third round.
