UPDATE: Lexington QB Rushed to Hospital Will be 'Fine'

Quarterback Will Hunter was hit during Friday night's game against Blythewood.

UPDATE (8 a.m. Sept. 1): Will Hunter, the Lexington High School quarterback who was injured during Friday night's loss to Blythewood, said early Saturday morning that he will be "fine."

In a tweet from WilliamHunter1, he said: "I appreciate all the texts and tweet and everybody caring about me! I'll be just fine. Will get back on track next week. Much love to all!!!"

Hunter was carted off the field after being hit around 9:45 p.m., according to reports. 

Lexington lost 27-6 to Blythewood.
