Children's Author Motivates Elementary Students to Love Reading, Writing

Children's author Kimberly Johnson recently led three workshops at Red Bank Elementary School to help motivate students to improve their reading and writing skills. 

Johnson, an advocate of children's literacy, has authored 14 children's books, including “The Adventures of the Itty Bitty Frog,” “Paperback Poetry Part 2” and “Not again, Mr. Cat.”

Johnson, who lives in York, has been the guest speaker at numerous local and national organizations, including Project Read To Me, Smart Start, National Reading Associations and Head Start.
