Town Council to Vote on Residential Chickens Ordinance

The first reading of an ordinance on keeping chickens in residential areas on the agenda for Monday's meeting.

Lexington Town Council will hold the first reading Monday of an ordinance on keeping chickens in residential areas. 

Council members have been discussing loosening the restrictions on raising chickens in residential areas since August.

Monday's meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Lexington Municipal Complex.
