Lexington Town Council Approves Dog Park Rules

Town council approved the first reading of the rules. They'll vote on a second reading in May.

Lexington Town Council approved the first reading of a set of rules for Lexington Paw Park —the town's first dog park scheduled to open this fall on Hendrix Street.

Residents will be allowed to register three dogs per household at $30 per year for the first dog and $15 for each additional dog. They'll get special dog tags and a combination to the gate at the park.

People who live outside the town limits can register at $50 per year for the first dog and $25 for each additional dog.
