Absentee Voting High in Lexington County

Thousands of Lexington County residents have cast their absentee ballots already.

About 75 people were waiting in line Wednesday afternoon at the Lexington County Registration and Election Commission to cast their absentee ballots. But election officials said voters were getting through that line quickly.

The elections office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday, and from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday for voters to cast their absentee ballots.
