Sheriff: Woman Stole 6 Firearms, Vodka from Home Near Lexington

A 28-year-old woman is wanted after six guns and a half-gallon of vodka was stolen from a home near Lexington.

Lexington County detectives are looking for a 28-year-old woman after she allegedly broke into a home near Lexington, and stole guns and alcohol.

Tabitha Ann Bryant, who does not have a permanent address, is wanted for first-degree burglary, Sheriff James Metts said.

Bryant allegedly broke into a home on Shirway Road between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Aug. 20 and stole six firearms: one .357-magnum Smith & Wesson handgun, one .22-caliber Stevens rifle, one 12-gauge shotgun, one Remington pump-action .22-caliber rifle, one 7-mm magnum Remington rifle with a scope, and one 30-30 rifle with a scope, Metts said. She is also accused of stealing a half-gallon of vodka.

Bryant is 5 feet 5 inches and is 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and flower tattoos on the right side of her stomach, her right arm and on the center of her back.

Metts said Bryant should be considered armed and dangerous.
