Behind the scenes since 1958, the Lexington Woman's Club has been a force for the betterment of life in the Lexington Community. Diligently committed to this goal, the women of LWC have helped build the library that your family attends, provided shelter for battered and broken families in crisis, and have developed the Virginia Hilton Park for all to enjoy.
For the past twenty years the club has awarded two scholarships to a graduating senior at Lexington High School or White Knoll High School. One scholarship is for a student pursuing a career in education and one in memory of Anne D. Pitts for a student entering the field of medicine. In addition, Lexington Woman’s Club awards a scholarship to an adult education graduate (GED) pursuing higher education studies in South Carolina.
