S.C. Bar Offers Free Legal Clinics in Lexington County

The free clinics are scheduled at branches of the Lexington County Public Library.

The S.C. Bar Pro Bono Program will sponsor four free legal clinics in Lexington County in September. The schedule is as follows:

  • Sept. 10— family law issues (including divorce, custody, visitation and support), featuring attorney William B. Fortino from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lexington County Public Library located at 5440 Augusta Rd.
  • Sept. 16— family law issues (including divorce, custody, visitation and support), featuring attorney William B. Fortino, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Irmo Branch Library located at 6251 St. Andrews Rd.
  • Sept. 24—family law issues (including divorce, custody, visitation and support), featuring attorney Robin R. McLean from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the S. Congaree/Pine Ridge Branch Library located at 200 Sunset Dr. in W. Columbia.
  • Sept. 30— family law issues (including divorce, custody, visitation and support), featuring attorney Bryn C. Sarvis from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Batesburg-Leesville Library located at 203 Armory St. in Batesburg.

The seminars are free for anyone who would like to attend. A schedule of other upcoming seminars throughout the state is available online at www.scbar.org/clinics.
