DESCRIPTION:The Lexington County Sheriff's Department will be hosting the
  South Carolina Association of Law Enforcement Explorers (S.C.A.L.E.) su
 mmer conference.&nbsp\; Law Enforcement Exploring is open to young men a
 nd women ages 14 through 20 years old with an interest in learning more 
 about careers in the field of law enforcement.The conference is a week-l
 ong event that will attract Explorer Cadets from law enforcement agencie
 s all across South Carolina and from other state like Virginia\, Tenness
 ee and Florida.&nbsp\; During the conference\, Explorers will compete in
  individual and team events such as: Legal Knowledge\, Traffic Collision
  Report Writing\, Firearms\, Crime Scene Investigation\, High Risk Traff
 ic Stops\, Courtroom Testimony\, Emergency Vehicle Operations\, as well 
 as several others.&nbsp\; We anticipate between 250-300 participants.We 
 ask that you join us in helping to make this event a rewarding and memor
 able experience for all of the young people who will attend the conferen
 ce by becoming a sponsor.
