The Lexington County Foster and Adoptive Parents' Association is holding its 6th Annual Back to School Drive for foster children in Lexington County.
There are more than 65 Lexington County foster parents who care for more than 130 foster children, and unfortunately, they are provided with very little assistance.
LCFAPA will be outside the Red Bank Walmart on Aug. 10 and 11 in Lexington collecting donations of the basic necessities: pencils, paper, notebooks and other school supplies.

The Walmart Supercenter is located in the Shoppes at White Knoll on South Lake Drive. It offers groceries in addition to Walmart's usual wide selection. There is ample parking, three entrances and a garden center. There is also an optical store, an All South Credit Union, tire express and lube, and a 1-hr photo service located inside this location.
