STEM Labs Come Alive for Lexington One Fourth-Graders

Fourth-grade students will create habitats for Fiddler crabs, African dwarf frogs and millipedes.

Lexington One fourth-grade students are getting hands-on experience in science classes this year.

As part of this year’s science curriculum, students in fourth grade at all Lexington One elementary schools will establish habitats for Fiddler crabs, African dwarf frogs and millipedes.

They'll enhance their scientific observation skills and knowledge through hands-on activities with these organisms and their environments.

In the photo above, Meadow Glen Elementary students Morgan and Aaron Yates observe the fiddler crabs in their school’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) lab.
