Kids can touch nearly half of 40 species of animals available through Riverbank Zoo's summer camps.
EdVentures combines learning with fun opening worlds of science and more to its campers.

School's out for summer - almost. Beat boredom before it sets in by signing the kids up for a local summer camp. From art & science to technology & math, kids from Pre-K to age 19 can enjoy participating in hands-on activities or sports throughout Lexington County. Camps sponsored by Riverbanks Zoo, Columbia College, USC and the Children's Museum are also available.

"Seeing the kids at the end of the day bursting with information and sharing it with their parents is my favorite part," says Alma Coyle, Coordinator of Camps & Overnight Programs at Riverbanks Zoo.

How do we let others know about these camps since they aren't listed and they are for children( www.glenforest.org/Calendar/summer-camp.html )who have special learning differences? Is there someone that I should contact? My email is admin@glenforest.org and we would like to be sure we are on the list each year. Thanks all! -GFS

How do we let these camps know about our services as well? We have been visiting camps since we started here in Lexington last year. www.GoGoLaserTag.com is a very kid safe, kid friendly activity that works with various camp programs. A mobile lasertag company that has great games for the campers using lasertag equipment to teach leadership and strategy. Thanks! - Go Go Lasertag and we are on Facebook too.
