Columbia Lawmakers Call for Haley to Return to SC, Focus on Jobs
Reps. James Smith and Mia Butler Garrick compared Haley to any other state worker who wouldn't be able to take a three-week vacation.
Gov. Nikki Haley has been MIA for the past few weeks, according to two state representatives who called for her return.
James Smith and Mia Butler Garrick, both Democrats, held a press conference to ask Haley publicly to leave Charlotte and return to her job in South Carolina.
Haley is currently at a Republican counter-convention in Charlotte while the Democratic National Convention goes on.
Garrick called Haley the "Governor of Where?" in the press conference, a reference to her travels to other states.
According to Smith and Garrick, North Carolina is the closest Haley has been to her office in weeks.

This proves that Haley is more interested in furthering her political ambitions than in actually doing the job that she was elected by the people of this state to do.

She is being paid by the SC taxpayers to serve the citizens of South Carolina. Not to travel all around the Country trying to make a name for herself! She'll do anything to be in the limelight!

Seems to me that protecting our state from another 4 years of Obama IS part of her job!

OMG! How stupid can the government be? Saying she is MIA in one sentence, then saying she is in Charlotte in the next sentence. When are these people going to grow up????? I think they should all be voted out of office!
