Readers' Choice: Name Your Favorite Pizza Place
We have relaunched our Readers' Choice contest with dozens of new categories, including pizza.
Thick crust, thin crust, deep dish or Sicilian, oven-fired, hand-tossed, sauce, no sauce and an endless list of toppings.
There are a lot of decisions that go into making the “Best Pizza” in town.
Everyone has a favorite place to pick up a favorite pie!
Patch is looking for local, hometown pizza parlors making the dough and worthy of the title, “Best Pizza,” contest as Patch unveils its Readers’ Choice.
Just log in and post your vote in the comments section below. You may nominate multiple places, but please post each nomination in a separate comment so we can make sure they are all counted. Your nominee must be in Irmo, Lexington, Spring Valley or St. Andrews to be eligible.
Nominations are due by July 9.
Voting for Readers’ Choice 2012 will begin in late July and winners will be announced in August.

Despite oftentimes having to wait to get a table, my family loves Mellow Mushroom. Exciting new pizza combinations. Affordable prices. Fun atmosphere. Great for children.

Papa John's is our family's preference. We love the thin crust and the garlic butter that comes with the pizza. And always the Meat Lovers. I like the fact that I can order online and build my own pizza and then see the final cost.
