Readers' Choice: Name Your Favorite Mexican Food
We have relaunched our Readers' Choice contest with dozens of new categories, including Mexican food.
Eat like its Cinco de Mayo every day!
Hot, spicy food paired with chips and salsa, or queso if you prefer, it’s a party for your stomach.
From burritos and enchiladas to stuffed peppers and nachos, Mexican food evokes a feeling of celebration in everyone.
So with a great selection of menu items and a festive atmosphere, there’s really no reason to quibble over the authenticity.
But where can you find the best meal in town?
Nominate your favorite restaurant to be part of our “Best Mexican Restaurant,” as Patch unveils its Readers' Choice.
Just log in and post your vote in the comments section below. You may nominate multiple places, but please post each nomination in a separate comment so we can make sure they are all counted. Your nominee must be in Irmo, Lexington, Spring Valley or St. Andrew to be eligible.
Nominations are due by July 9.
Voting for Readers’ Choice 2012 will begin in late July and winners will be announced in August.

Real Mexico on Bush River Road is the best. It's the closest I've had to the real thing considering I grew up on Mexican food back in Texas....... A lot of food for so little price.
