Obituary: David Scott Pitchko, 44, Former Gamecock

PITCHKO, David Scott, died peacefully on December 3, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was 44.He is the beloved son of Maria Lignana and David M. Pitchko. He is survived by his twin brother, Mark G. Pitchko, step brother and step sister, Joshua Lignana and Lois O’Shea and their families and sister, Amanda Pitchko. He is the loving uncle and “Buddy” of Gabrielle and Samantha Pitchko who loved him dearly. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends. David was a 1986 graduate of Cherokee High School, Marlton NJ and a 1992 graduate of University of South Carolina. Throughout high school, David was an All County and All State wide receiver and went onto play Division 1 football at the University of South Carolina. Relatives and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life on Wednesday Dec. 12 at 7:00pm The Connect Church 1110 Cornell Ave Cherry Hill NJ where the family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David’s memory to the AFTD (for research of Frontotemporal Dementia) 290 King of Prussia Road, Bldg 2, Suite 320, Radnor PA 19087.
