Thanksgiving, a day to give Thanks and be thankfuk for what we have, not shop for what we want which we probably have already, albeit an older model or something we don't need.
I don't see this as breaking news. Breaking news would be that the sales would NOT start til 6am Friday! Happy thanksgiving

Is this yet another example of South Carolina folks wanting to control how everyone else lives? What doesn't anyone complain that hospital employees, gas station attendants, firefighters, police officers and ambulance drivers are working today. Why are store employees any different?

Chris, there's a fabulous little Facebook thing circulating about all of our soldiers fighting overseas instead of being off for Thanksgiving. Plus, this is probably a super busy day for fire fighters! It wouldn't be Thanksgiving at my home if they didn't stop by to put out a stove fire.
