I spend the evening of the 4th of July trying to get away from rednecks who spent all of this week's pay on noisy, dangerous and stupid fireworks.

George...ditto to that! We went to Brevard and spent the day in Pisgah National Forest, a fantastic place! Kudos to the US Forest Service staff who are a shining example of government workers serving the American public with enthusiasm, knowledge, and friendliness!!
And we won't hear the neighborhood all-evening-long fireworks like we have for too many years.
