Gas Prices Dip Below $3 in Lexington

Check out where you can find the lowest prices in Lexington.

 

It's a good time to fill up your tank and head out of town for the weekend. 

South Carolina has the lowest gas prices in the country right now, according to gasbuddy.com. The Columbia area has the third lowest average prices in the state, just behind Greenville and Spartanburg.

Lexington residents saw gas prices drop from just over $3 to just below $3 this week. Prices at some stations are down to $2.97. 

Nationally, the cost of gas is declining, but the average cost for a gallon still stands at $3.55.

Here are some of the lowest prices in Lexington as of Thursday: 

$2.97 - Spinx at 4345 Augusta Rd.

$2.98 - Hess at N. Lake Drive and Sunset Boulevard

$2.98 - Shell at 4379 Augusta Rd.

$2.98 - Exxon at 5019 Augusta Rd. near I-20 

$2.98 - Murphy Express at 108 Knoll Station Dr. and S. Lake Drive

$2.98 - Quick Serve at 1316 South Lake Dr near Pine Tree Lane

According to Nimrata it is the Chinese that control our gas prices. She actually said that this weekend in Hilton Head She also said that China control the taxes on cigarettes can a person be so dumb???
