Best of Patch: French Fries

Whether seasoned, traditional, homestyle, curly, or thick-cut, help us pick the best French fries in Lexington.

VOTING IN THIS POLL IS NOW CLOSED.

Pommes Frites. Chips. Frieten. French Fries. Whatever they’re called, just about everybody likes them.

Much like last week’s “Best of” contest where readers named their favorite place for coffee, this week we want to know where to find the best French Fries, in all of their many varieties.

There are steak fries, curly fries, crinkle-cut fries, not to mention all the condiments and seasoning that make them too delicious to resist. Around town there is no shortage of places to get fries just the way you like them.

Here are some of our favorites:

Tell us which one is your favorite in the poll below. HOWEVER, if there are other restaurants you believe belong on the list, let us know in the comments section below and we’ll add them right away. And while you’re at it, let us know how you like your fries prepared, too.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Note: Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Five Guys? Can't have a franchise winning a local contest. Might as well give it to Wendy's or Burger King. You want another suggestion, Cotton Grill hand cuts theirs daily and sprinkles with sea salt right out the fryer. Quite Delicious!

Dam bar & grill is no longer open, so that one can be taking out of the equation.

Thanks. We'll add Cotton Grill and delete Dam Bar & Grill.
