4 Arrested After Former Soldier from West Columbia Killed

Hassan Williams, 20, was found shot in Thomasville, Ga. Tuesday.

Police in Georgia arrested four people after a former soldier from West Columbia was shot and killed Tuesday, according to news reports.

Hassan Williams, 20, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday in Thomasville, Ga., according to a report from WLTX.

Kiera Shanise Graham, 22, Kimberly Deshaundra Williams, 26, Alvin Davis III, 20, Chaquel Jaquez Cook, 18, of Thomasville, Ga. were arrested and charged with murder, according to WTXL-TV in Georgia.

Williams, a Brookland-Cayce graduate, returned to West Columbia this week after receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, according to WLTX. He told his mother, Aida Williams, that he was going to visit friends in Virginia. She said she doesn't know how her son ended up in Georgia.

"It just hurts, that my son was willing to go across seas and risk his life for us here, and for him to come home and for somebody to do this to him," Williams told WLTX. "It's unfair."

Graham is also facing a felony arson charge for allegedly torching Williams' car, according to WCTV-TV in Georgia. A judge denied bond for all four defendants.

This just a sad situation...And so many jack ass have so much to say, but Hassen was a great person all around. And four dumb ass people took him from people who loved him. All I hope is they put those that played a role in his death to death. Four lives for one. Then justice will be served in my eye.
