Twelve candidates will be on the ballot in November for four Lexington One school board seats.
All seats are at-large. School board members serve four-year terms on the seven-person board.
The four members whose terms expire this year are: Chair Cynthia S. Smith, Vice Chair G. Edwin Harmon, Secretary Albert J. Dooley Jr. and D.F. Shumpert III.
Only Smith and Harmon are running for re-election.
Candidates had until noon Wednesday to file for the seats. The following candidates have filed, according to the Lexington County Registration and Elections office.
The names in bold are incumbents.
